Joel went without food for 22 days. THANK YOU to everyone who participated!
Joel Miller, M.Div is partnering with city leaders, businesses, schools, non-profits, churches, and residents alike to collect 60,000 items of clothing and school supplies for disadvantaged children in our city. The School year is rapidly approaching and many families do not have the means to purchase clothing or supplies for their children. As a community, we want to ensure that no child goes without. We realize that the downturn in our economy has hurt many families, and together, we can be apart of the solution. Joel is committed to eating Absolutely Nothing until the goal of collecting 60,000 items of clothing and school supplies is reached. THAT MEANS WATER ONLY—no matter how long it takes!
"The Mission--The Hunger Strike"
You can help Joel by donating school supplies and clothing to North Dallas for Kids. Joel will personally receive goods in front of the Trinity Hall Irish Restaurant in Allen next to IHOP. There will be a large trailer available for donated items. Bring your items and meet the man behind the mission. For your convenience, additional drop-off locations around North Dallas can be found on our sponsors page.
